Villa Giovina is a short drive from Sulmona, which can be reached by bus or train from major cities. We’re happy to assist with coordinating carpooling if needed. Parking will be available at the venue.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Villa Giovina offers 22 standard rooms. Single rooms are priced at €50 per night, and double rooms at €80 per night, both including breakfast!
ATTIRE
The dresscode is semi-formal. Feel free to dress up, but no need for black tie. Think dresses, suits, or smart separates - something stylish yet comfortable for celebrating!
FOOD & DRINK
Our wedding will feature a fully vegan menu, crafted with love and care. Alongside the delicious food, we'll have an open bar with a variety of drinks, including refreshing non-alcoholic options. Feel free to reach out about allergies and dietary restrictions.

For our guests traveling from abroad, the nearest airport is Pescara Airport, about 50 minutes from Sulmona. Rome and Napoli are also great options. If you need help with transportation, let us know!

VillA Giovina
The country residence "Villa Giovina" is a charming accommodation, thoughtfully restored from the ancient Grangia dei Celestini, a fortified farm that once supported the nearby Abbey of Santo Spirito al Morrone. This grand monastic complex was founded in the 13th century by the hermit who became Pope Celestine V.

Set in an area rich in architectural, artistic, and natural beauty, the hotel is surrounded by historic cities, such as Barbara's hometown Sulmona, ancient abbeys, Romanesque churches, and National Parks. Located in Abruzzo, in the town of Pratola Peligna, Villa Giovina sits at the foot of Monte Morrone (1,980 meters above sea level) within the stunning Maiella National Park.
